The Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) is seeking a development intern to manage the organization’s donor databases, track fundraising efforts, and assist with special projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual to develop skills in nonprofit development work and ultimately learn about environmental protection. Intern will learn the operations of a development department in a nonprofit as well as the grants management process. You will also learn about donor engagement in a fast-paced professional environment. This position is located at our Washington, D.C. office.
An ideal candidate must:
Background or coursework in communications, marketing, development, journalism, public relations, or other relevant subjects a plus. Candidates with development, communications, or community outreach background and a demonstrated commitment to environmental protection are strongly preferred.
Compensation / Hours: This paid internship is being offered during the 2018 Spring semester at approximately 15 hours a week. Days and times are flexible.
