Sales Technician - Full-Time (Remote)

Meridian Bird Removal is seeking a full-time Sales Technician to join our expanding team.The successful candidate will understand and embody our core values:  Eagerly Optimistic, Humbly Confident, Adapt and Overcome, Commitment to Capture and Be Above the Bar.In addition, the successful candidate will be a valuable team player who possesses an energetic curiosity about life and a humble “do better/be better” attitude. The Sales Technician will be responsible for growing existing customer relationships as well as prospecting and developing new leads, as well as Bird Removal Technician responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  •  Contact prospects generating leads
  •  Ability to achieve objectives and goals in a team environment
  •  Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  •  Proven sales or other relevant experience
  • Become knowledgeable and proficient in the bird capture process to effectively communicate the value of what we do for our customers
  •  Perform the BRT roles and responsibilities as necessary  reporting to your TM
  •  Documenting hours and all activity
  • Follow up on leads closing new business
  • Contact existing customers to assess current needs
  • Drive top line revenue growth to meet and exceed all sales targets quarterly and annually
  • Demonstrate problem solving for customers and company


Basic Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in business or a related field or equivalent combination of education and sales experience 
  • Ability to achieve objectives and goals in a team environment
  • Proven sales or other relevant experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent in person listening and presentation skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills– Pleasant and professional telephone “presence.”
  • No fear of heights

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of demonstrated successful sales and/or experience in food safety, food retail industry preferred, big box, or other relevant industry
  • Excellent organization / time management skills
  • Good business and financial acumen
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and produce from remote work locations.
  • This position can be remote (work from home). You will be expected to attend meetings, trainings, etc. in Christiansburg, VA quarterly.  The first month of training, you will be or around the vicinity of our main office on a fairly regular basis.


Compensation 
 
Salary, quarterly commission, yearly bonus and 401(k) are provided.
