We are looking for qualified applicants to join the Climate Change and Adaptation and Waste Reduction teams as a Resource Conservation Education Specialist I.
The ideal candidate will have a background in formal or informal education, preferably in the environmental science or sustainability field. The Resource Conservation Specialist will be responsible for working with high school students on the Youth Exploring Sea Level Rise Science (YESS) Program and grades K-12 on the Schools Program.

Currently, we have one full time, limited term Resource Conservation Education Specialist I position available.
NOTE: This is a limited term, at-will position for an initial term of 1 year, not to exceed 3 years. Limited Term employees receive full medical and dental benefits, similar to regular employees, and a portable 401(a) plan. However, the eligible list generated from this recruitment may be used to fill future extra-help, term, unclassified, and regular classified vacancies.
