Environmental Career Center – Helping people work for a better environment since 1980

Next week, from May 10-11, the US Green Building Council will hold the 2011 Government Summit in Washington, D.C. The summit will examine the public private partnerships in the green building industry and how they can help fuel the growth of a clean energy economy. The keynote address will be given by the Honorable Ray Mabus, Secretary of the Navy. Other speakers are to include Nancy Sutley, Chair, Council on Environmental Quality; Martin O’Malley, Governor, State of Maryland; and Arthur H. Rosenfeld, Distinguished Scientist Emeritus, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, U.C. Berkeley.
