Position DescriptionThe Department of Biostatistics (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health) is seeking candidates with a PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics for a two-year postdoctoral position. The position will be focused on the development of statistical methods to estimate effects of exposure to environmental contaminants. Problems of particular interest are estimating effects of simultaneous exposure to a large number of environmental agents, methods for adjusting for high dimensional confounding and interacting factors, causal inference for exposure-response functions, and evaluation of interventions to limit air pollution exposure.Basic QualificationsDoctoral degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field; familiarity in Bayesian modeling, causal inference methods, analysis of observational data, and/or methods spatial/temporal data analysis are encouraged.
