Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:

  • The EHS Specialist will provide site support to our Hooksett, NH facility. Within this role, you will apply your environmental, health and safety knowledge and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and others, while having the ability to effect short and long term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • In addition you will :
  • Provide day-to-day EHS support for the facility
  • Work together with business leadership, both locally and through headquarters, to drive outcomes
  • Initiating and influencing integration of EHS policies and practices into the business
  • Implementing and auditing EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Developing and maintaining general knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Performing program reviews, EHS assessments and driving closure of corrective actions to ensure compliance
  • Completing regulatory reporting requirements
  • Coordinating with consultants and contractors on EHS related concerns
  • Managing internal compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems
  • Supporting site EHS requirements for new product development
  • Managing key EHS and Health Ahead initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience environmental, health and safety guidelines

  • Established program management ability, Six Sigma and / or Lean training
