Job Description

We are looking for a sales orientated target driven ‘people person’ with an outgoing personality to take forward our volunteer operation. The successful candidate will coordinate sales and recruitment of all research and gap year participants. We offer 3, 6 and 12 month contracts.

Main responsibilities will include: To promote the organization and its key objectives to the public and develop the Frontier reputation and brand as part of our Sales teamPlan and prioritize personal sales activities and volunteer contact especially managing personal time and productivityFollow up call backs, brochure requests and offers with varied communications (phone calls, emails, newsletters)Arrange interviews with prospective volunteersInterview prospective volunteers face-to-face and over the telephone and build a rapport turning enquiries into travelersInform and advise people about the wide range of gap year projects and tours both over the phone and in person all over the countryAnswer general enquiries from prospective volunteersHelp manage events coordination including liaison with student representativesManage Marketing & Events InternsManage University and College mail outsContribute to the administrative efficiency of the teamCarry out market research on competitors (if applicable)Attend and represent the company at school and university talks and fairs as directed by the Accounts ManagerIdentify inconsistencies, duplications and mistakes in information provided to volunteers and make changes in consultation with the Accounts Manager and Managing DirectorAct as (out of hours) emergency contact for volunteers, family members and field staffProvide assistance to the Volunteer Coordinator at Briefing Weekends and Training Weekends.
