Job Description

Kleinfelder is seeking a Summer Intern for Environmental work in our Denver, Colorado office.


The Intern will work under the direct supervision of experienced staff, and will assist in various project administration and data analysis tasks on various projects.


The position requires good writing and verbal communication skills.


The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of environmental assessments and field skills, and be able to conduct work outside in varied weather and field conditions over successive days.


Candidates should be recent graduates or pursuing a degree towards Geology or Environmental Science or a related field. The ideal candidate will have good computer skills, be able to get along well with others, be well organized, and be very capable of conducting field work. Experience conducting field work either while employed or as a volunteer, is desirable.


The ideal candidate must have a valid drivers’ license with an excellent driving record. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required, and an A.A. /A.S. degree or additional science/environmental related course work will offer an advantage for this position. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are energetic and enthusiastic, have an interest in the environmental field, and who are highly organized and able to work independently to complete assignments.
