Job Description

The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking candidates for an Assistant Environmental Analyst (Data Specialist) to join the State of Maine Drinking Water Program (DWP.) The incumbent will work with the Data Management and Program Support Team to provide data entry, research, and analysis. The Data Specialist will add and maintain inventory data in the DWP’s database and provide quality control in the DWP’s document management system. In addition, the incumbent will assist data management staff with monthly public water systems sampling compliance.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field. Organized and detail-oriented individuals with excellent computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets, required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
