350.org is looking for a training coordinator to identify training and movement building opportunities in US campaigns and organizing, and to oversee their implementation.
350.org is building a global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis. Our online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions are led from the bottom up by thousands of volunteer organizers in over 188 countries. 350.org works hard to organize in a new way—everywhere at once, using online tools to facilitate strategic offline action. We want to be a laboratory for the best ways to strengthen the climate movement and catalyze transformation around the world.
About the US Training Coordinator
The training coordinator will support campaign and strategy development through training and facilitation. This includes building curriculum, finding appropriate trainers and facilitators, supporting strategic planning retreats to create alignment with political goals, building bridges to other movements and training institutes in the U.S, and occasionally representing 350 in movement-building and political power-building spaces.
The US Training Coordinator will coach and support organizers in the movement (including 350 staff) to lead trainings and facilitate strategy or campaign planning processes. The US Training Coordinator will offer feedback and ideas for content design, and provide occasional support on relational and interpersonal work.
