WWF, the world conservation organization, is seeking a full time candidate to coordinate the implementation of the WWF Chile’s Landscapes Strategy.WWF, the world conservation organization, works in Chile to conserve terrestrial and marine biodiversity, as well as to reduce Chile’s ecological footprint.


The conservation of biodiversity and the ecological footprint in terrestrial environments is a key challenge for Chile. To help generate solutions in collaboration with government, business and civil society, WWF Chile is seeking a Landscapes Program Officer to lead this work within the Conservation team. Under the supervision of the Conservation Director, the Landscapes Program Officer will have as main objective: the contribution to the mission of WWF Chile and coordinate the implementation of its goals related to the conservation strategies of terrestrial landscapes including forests, freshwater and other practices that contribute to the protection and restoration of biodiverse and resilient terrestrial landscapes in the south of Chile.


The position will be based in Santiago. Minimum requirements include a bachelor degree in environment or related area, and at least 5 years of proven professional experience in the developing, coordination and management of projects in conservation areas and/or management of terrestrial natural resources involving multiple actors, ideally in Chile. The candidate should have demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish are also required.

Salary: According to the relating experience.
