Fehr Graham is searching for an Environmental Scientist with two to five years of environmental consulting experience to join our team of talented, trustworthy, skilled individuals who are passionate about what they do and enjoy providing personalized attention to our clients.  

Position Description:  

The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience involving work on environmental compliance, remediation, and due diligence projects. The candidate must be familiar with Phase I and Phase II environmental investigations or become proficient within a short timeframe. Completion of 40-hour OSHA hazardous waste site worker training preferred. Interest and understanding of industrial environmental compliance regulations a plus.  

Successful candidate will be expected to perform site visits, complete occasional environmental field work, including supervision of drilling and excavation contractors, and prepare reports. The position involves review and understanding of regulations, and evaluation of findings to evaluate further project needs. Candidate must be organized and efficient.  

This position works directly with clients and firm project managers to deliver projects with the highest quality possible, on time and on budget.

Position Qualifications:  

 The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years’ experience and must have a minimum of a science- based BA or BS degree. A Masters is preferred in Geology or Environmental Engineering. 

  Must have expertise in Phase I & Phase II environmental investigations and be interested in working towards P.E. or P.G. certification. 

 Exposure and understanding of environmental compliance reporting requirements (Form R, SWPPP, SPCC, etc.) a plus. 

Successful candidate must be a team player with strong analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
