Job Description

We are EnSafe Inc., an employee-owned, global professional services firm and are currently seeking applicants for an Environmental Professional position in our Hartford, CT office. Responsibilities will include: planning and participation in field investigations of soil/groundwater contamination and vapor intrusion studies, compiling and interpreting investigation data, preparation of technical reports, evaluations of potential responses/corrective actions, and management of field health and safety. Other projects will include storm water, water, wastewater, air, solid and hazardous waste management, permitting, and pollution prevention. Knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, EPCRA, CWA, CAA, CT RSRs, and other environmental legislation desirable.

Candidates must have a minimum of a BS in Engineering or an environmental related scientific field such as geology with two to six years’ experience. Prior experience within an environmental/engineering consulting company with federal business (DoD client preferred), strong oral and written communication and PC skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), CAD and GIS software experience a plus. Current HAZWOPER training and certification is desirable.
