Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer to join our environmental group in our Parsippany, NJ office. The candidate will perform a variety of environmental support functions for assignments in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The Environmental Engineer must be flexible, client focused and capable of working under the supervision of project managers. The work required is diverse and ranges from general field support to technical work that requires strong communication and organization skills. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub-consultants, and county/agency review staff, as well as have the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. Moreover, the candidate will be expected to work in a timely fashion to meet project, client, and/or regulatory deadlines and project budgets. The candidate will also be responsible for composing technical reports, memorandums, and other written documents.
Required Skills & Required Experience
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering required.
0-2 years of experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Access
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or ARcGIS; Bentley software products a plus
Current OSHA 40-hr certification and/or other applicable certification also a plus.
