At the entry level of this position, you will:
- Research and draft written materials such as plans, fact sheets, press releases, web and social media content, opinion pieces, letters to the editor and responses to correspondence; and helps determine appropriate communications vehicles for the dissemination of information on environmental programs.
- Work closely with Public Affairs Division (PAD) staff and management, develop methods for increasing the EPA’s ability to inform and work closely with stakeholders, communities, and other audiences.
- Provide support to PAD staff working on major, current, and future initiatives such as ”Making a Visible Difference in Communities,” Skills Market Place, LEAN, and promotion of national programs such as Safer Choice.
- Provide support for Intergovernmental and Stakeholder Outreach or Web, Social Media and Systems.
