This position exists to provide easement program support and expertise for aspects of data management, budgeting, fund management and reporting.
The incumbent participates in program analysis and administration including recommending policies and procedures, computer based statistical analysis, development of easement program payment rates, funding source integrity and accountability, and review of program related expenditures. The incumbent assists in formulating Outdoor Heritage Fund (OHF) proposals, accomplishment plans, and status reports, and may be involved in similar activities with other funding entities such as ENRTF and Clean Water Funds.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Finance, Business or a closely-related field OR an Associate’s Degree and two (2) years para-professional experience in a related field.
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Accurately analyze and synthesize budget and expenditure data and make recommendations to senior staff
Communicate clearly and concisely Preferred Qualifications
State budgeting policies and procedures
Previous experience working in a land conservation program
Previous experience in developing complex budgets
Understanding of the easement acquisition process
Accounting processes of the State using the Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT) systemAdditional Requirements
