The Corporate Sustainability Program Senior Lead, Senior Vice President is part of a five-person Corporate Sustainability team, which supports the development and execution of strategies to enhance Citi’s reputation and approach to corporate sustainability and citizenship. The Corporate Sustainability team manages environmental, human rights and other stakeholder issues in partnership with Citi's businesses. The SVP independently leads and manages departmental initiatives and reports to Citi’s Director of Corporate Sustainability, who in turn reports to Citi's Director of Corporate Citizenship.Job Responsibilities
Partner with Citi’s businesses and Environmental and Social Risk Management team to identify, track and manage reputational risks associated with environmental and social impacts of Citi’s clients.
Engage with key stakeholder groups to manage our reputation, gain insight on emerging trends and risks, manage and respond to campaign activity, and understand expectations for transparency and reporting.
Actively support the ongoing development of Citi’s environmental and social risk policies.
Represent Citi at external meetings and conferences on sustainability topics of importance to Citi, our clients, and other stakeholders.
Contribute to other team priorities related to Citi’s Sustainable Progress strategy, stakeholder engagement, and disclosure.Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree in relevant field required, Master’s preferred.
7+ years of relevant professional experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability issues as they impact business.
Experience engaging with both the private and non profit sectors.
Experience working on environmental, social, and reputational risks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Ability to work in a high performance professional environment, with quick turn-around and shifting priorities.
Flexible and a team player.
