AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Environmental Technician for immediate employment. This is a full-time position located on a client site at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work as a team with environmental and engineering staff, including other contractors, civil service, and active duty government employees to deliver high-quality services and products
Assist the Sr. Environmental Technician to Administer Hazardous Materials Management System (HMMS), including daily inventory creation, shelf-life management, authorized user list (AUL) maintenance, providing direction and oversight to program, data entry, reporting and other miscellaneous tasks involved in the support of client’s growing hazardous material consolidation program
Manage the primary program mailbox by completing HCP related user requests
Responsible for taking initiative to continually improve program
Complete specific tasks as directed by on-site manager
Ability to attain a Department of Defense (DOD) Common Access Card (CAC)

High school diploma or equivalent
10+ years of experience
Or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
Experience with materials tracking databases
Advanced experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Primarily Outlook, Excel, and Access)
Effective time-management, written communications skills, and analytical skills
Articulate with professional presence and appearance

5+ years specific job experience working with the DOD HMMS is preferred
40 Hr HAZWOPER trained preferred
