As an Fish and Wildlife Biologist, your duties will include, but are not limited to the following: 
-Analyzing and preparing documents for migratory bird permits; often the work is time sensitive and controversial. 
-Conducting biological and statistical analyses, and preparing and reviewing documents that are compliant with applicable laws, policies, regulations and guidance. 
-Interacting through clear and timely communications with the public on sensitive and controversial wildlife issues. 
-Maintaining positive communications with colleagues and the public.

Occasional Travel
Travel may be required for occasional meetings and for inspections to evaluate permit compliance
