Job Description

Under supervision assists with developing and implementing a statewide water-level monitoring program.  Collects and QA/QC's groundwater level data from the Coastal Plain groundwater level monitoring network.  Uploads data to appropriate database.  Supports the Private Well program, the Capacity Use program and the Surface Water Withdrawal programs through data evaluation (use of Access and Excel) and generation of maps using ArcGIS as appropriate.
 
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in geology, hydrology, hydrogeology or geological engineering.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in hydrology, geology or geological engineering. Institutions of higher learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
