Job Description

A research opportunity is available with the U.S Army Garrison Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located in Fort Huachuca, AZ. DPW is seeking a candidate with a Bachelors/Masters in Biology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or similar. Exposure to big game management and hunting a plus.
Participates in developing hunting regulations and policies. Assist in the implementation and administering of hunting program. Assist with game species management projects. Perform work in support of game species habitat and resource management activities and outreach. Participate in management of nuisance wildlife. Assist with other wildlife surveys and management activities. Training provided: Hunter education, hunter education instructor course, Mexican Spotted Owl survey training, Chiricahua Leopard Frog, Wilderness First Aid. Immunization for pre-rabies series provided.
