Job Description

Overview:

First Response, a Tradebe Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tradebe Environmental Services, LLC.  First Response provides Emergency Response, Demolition/Abatement, Industrial Cleaning, Transportation, and Environmental Consulting & Training Services. 

Responsibilities:

Individual will be responsible for bidding, planning, supervising, and performing a full range of environmental consulting tasks to include but not limited to: spill cleanup operation; UST systems; soil sampling; technical writing; waste characterization; environmental compliance and permitting; and/or Phase I ESA; in accordance with established company policies, procedures, applicable laws, and statutes. Individual will be in control of monitoring and enforcing compliance with DOT, OSHA, FREG safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities.  Individual will produce or edit specifications; design documents; and drawings related to the types of projects described above. Individual will support customer relationship; vendor relationships; and relations with appropriate regulatory agency entities and individuals.  Individual must also be able to effectively manage all phases of assigned projects including resource scheduling and supervision; and communicating with the client.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science/Geography Geology or in a related field is required. Certification of a Professional Geologist (PG) in the State of Tennessee is desired, but not required.  The ability to obtain licensure for UST in neighboring states or commonwealth is desired. The understanding of regulatory and industry standards, processes and procedures which are regularly applied in the environmental arena is desired. Certification with 40 hour is a plus. 

Working knowledge of solid & hazardous waste management and air regulations is preferred.  This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
