Minimum Qualifications The incumbent is a member of the Mount Royal Health & Safety team and reports to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager. Acting as a change agent in the implementation of a strong Health & Safety culture, the incumbent is essentially responsible for implementation of a strong Health & Safety culture, the incumbent is essentially responsible for implementing, managing and supporting the plant with respect to Corporate programs and governmental Health & Safety regulation. The incumbent will be responsible for:
Support the management team to implement the prevention plan with the HSES central committee.
Support the 4 working group such as emergency response for ammonia, lock out-tag out, job safety analysis and chemical safety (Sanitation).
Develop with the safety team, a strategic approach for the organizational HSES leadership and support the management team for implementation.
Coach the managers for the implementation of the preventive and corrective interventions conducted by employees, committees or external firms.
Promote and habilitate management to respect the Health & Safety procedures in the daily operations on site.
Intervene to promote on all hierarchical level the HSES accountability.
Update and maintain the Health & Safety documentation (policies, programs, procedures, work instructions and others)
Act as a contact for audits, reports and coach the managers on the actions follow-ups.
Develop training and coaching activities, facilitate the activities and ensure the transfer of Health & Safety competencies.
