Stanley Consultants is looking for an Engineer in Training for our Water Resources Department in West Palm Beach. This entry level college graduate position performs less complex functions which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in performing a sequence of related engineering tasks. This position provides the successful candidate the opportunity to expand their knowledge and grow with Stanley Consultants Water Market by working directly with engineers in performing tasks. Entry level knowledge desired in analysis programs such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, WaterCAD, HEC-1 or HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and FlowMaster. Responsibilities may include assisting with engineering tasks such as assisting in the collection and analysis of data, preparing and checking design computations and quantity estimates, assisting in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for projects. Responsibilities also include CAD drafting, field observations, and data collection assignments. Requirements • BS or MS (Preferred) in Civil Engineering • Possess 0 – 3 years of relevant experience • Must possess Engineer Intern (EI) certification/licensure • Knowledge of analysis programs such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, WaterCAD, HEC-1 or HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS and FlowMaster • Possess demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with technical team members, clients, and desire to participate in professional organizations. We are looking for a Student Intern participating in studies and design for our Transportation Market to work on a wide range of general civil engineering tasks for our Salt Lake City office. Responsibilities include : Study and design work projects Work with senior designers and design teams to solve engineering problems and produce high-quality design documents Field construction observation and environmental related field work Preparation and checking of design computations and quantity estimates Requirements Must have attained a minimum status of a college Junior AND Current and active enrollment in a four-year college or university AND Must be actively pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD software is required Possess experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Previous experience with engineering design and analysis software is a plus Must possess solid writing skills Ideal candidate will be in the greater Salt Lake City area.
