Job Summary : The person hired for the position of Sr. EHS Engineer will assume responsibility for providing self-initiated safety/environmental services as assigned. Defines and conducts technical and/or project tasks within the safety/health/environmental field. Maintains a flow of major safety/environmental management systems, such as standards, guidelines, and procedures, and communicates them by way of internal reports, technical presentations, and/or publication. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Ensuring operational Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance and promote accountability. Working with Cordova site management to set short and long term strategic EHS improvement plans that support EHS strategies. Working closely with outside regulatory agencies to maintain compliance. Developing EHS procedures and policies plant operations. Supporting hazard reviews by providing EHS subject matter expertise to assess new and changing processes, equipment, and chemistries. Defining and leading EHS-related projects, aimed at minimizing the risk of incidents. Supporting a plant wide behavioral based safety system. Leading incident investigations to determine causal factors and identify associated plans to minimize recurrence. Participating or leading initiatives aimed at enhancing EHS culture, behaviors, and accountability within all levels of the workforce. Actively applying engineering/scientific knowledge to EHS regulatory interpretation. Managing and leading EHS inspections, routine and non-routine internal and external compliance/conformance reports and data analysis. Providing safety and environmental consultation for assigned areas. Providing on-call coverage on a rotational basis for EHS related emergency situations Other duties as assigned. Be part of what’s next!  Job Summary : The person hired for the position of EHS Supervisor will lead the coordination and completion of site EHS compliance objectives.  The position lead all aspects of EHS, including Environmental permitting and tracking, Hazardous Waste Management, International Organization for Standardizations (ISO) 14001, Safety & Injury Prevention, Process Hazard Management, Incident Investigation, Emergency Preparedness, etc.  This position will be responsible for developing and completing the annual EHS&S plan with a focus on driving continuous improvement on our Global Safety and Health Plans and Global Environmental Management Systems. This position requires a self-starter with strong team skills and superior interpersonal abilities.  The responsibilities of this position will be approximately 30% Environmental and 70% Safety and Health. Ensure required environmental regulatory reports and associated recordkeeping are completed timely and accurately. Assist in the development and delivery of required EHS&S training to plant personnel. Audit site processes to assure compliance with Regulatory and 3M requirements. Provide EHS support in the design and installation of new or modified equipment, New Product Introduction System, Incoming Material Approval System, and Management of Change. Assist with the coordination and training of the Site Emergency Response Team. Assist in meeting departmental and plant Lean Six Sigma targets and leading EHS Projects.
