The nation’s employers added nearly 300,000 jobs in April, with forcasts calling for even greater future job growth.  Economic analysts were predicting jobs growth in the 190,000 range for April.  However, today’s jobs report far exceeds those expectations, which is the biggest increase since 2006.  In April 2009, we lost 528,000 jobs.

Employment statistics show an actual increase in jobs of 162,000 jobs in March.   Jobs statistics for January were revised from a loss of 26,000 to a gain of 14,000 jobs   February jobs statistics were revised from a loss of 36,000 to a loss of 14,000.  Just the facts.
