A major new study conducted in Great Britain by government and industry experts, concluded that North Sea wind, wave and tidal power could some day rival the output of North Sea oil.  In fact, the report states that North Sea renewable energy power has the potential to generate the same amount of electricity as is currently produced by North Sea oil and gas production.

Our Green Economy is growing slowly according to a  50 page report released by the Economics and Statistics Administration, a division of the Department of Commerce.  The report stated that green business and services accounted for 1.8 million to 2.4 million green jobs in 2007, which is less than 2 percent of the total work force.  However, there is every reason to believe that with the green jobs initiatives of the current administration those numbers are growing.
