290,000 Jobs Added in April

The nation’s employers added nearly 300,000 jobs in April, with forcasts calling for even greater future job growth. Economic analysts were predicting jobs growth in the 190,000 range for April. However, today’s jobs report far exceeds those expectations, which is the biggest increase since 2006. In April 2009, we lost 528,000 jobs.
